Welcome to our Year 4 page! Here you can keep up to date with homework, class news, and ways to support your child’s learning at home.

Mrs Beard is the class teacher in Year 4A, and Miss Rooney teaches Year 4B. We are very lucky to have Mrs Armitage, who supports our learning on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning, and Miss Garrod, who helps us on Thursday morning and Friday afternoon.

This year, we have lots of exciting learning ahead. In DT, we design, make, and adapt our own biscuits. In History, we explore the fascinating worlds of the Ancient Egyptians and the Anglo-Saxons, discovering how people lived long ago. In Geography, we learn all about rivers and how they shape the land around us.

We also enjoy going on some fantastic trips that bring our learning to life. One of the highlights of the year is performing the Nativity with our friends in Reception.

We can’t wait to share our learning journey with you throughout the year and to make wonderful memories together in Year 4!
