We are the Ravensworth Terrace Primary School Buddies
We are responsible for ensuring that the younger children in our school always
have someone to play with.  We organise games and fun activities that encourage
children to join in and keep active at playtimes.  Being a Buddy is a huge
responsibility, we had to apply for the job and be interviewed for our
positions.  You can apply to become a Buddy once you are in Year 4 - do you have what it
takes to be a young leader in our school?

Ravensworth Terrace Buddies 2016 - 2017

All of our school buddies received their special Buddy Badge today in assembly.  We shall wear our badges with pride throughout the year and ensure we are excellent role models around our school.

Enjoying active playtimes thanks to our Buddies!

               Ravensworth Terrace Buddies 2014-2015

The new Buddies for 2014 have received their unique Ravensworth Terrace Buddy Badge; which they will wear with pride throughout their time as a Buddy at our school.

Awards!

Congratulations to our Buddies who have achieved their Bronze Award in November 2014.  These Buddies should be really proud of themselves for showing dedication to their role and carrying out all of their duties.
Congratulations to our Buddies who have achieved their Silver Award in January 2015.  These Buddies work hard every week, ensuring they are always on duty when required and play enthusiastically with the younger children throughout playtime and lunchtime.

Congratulations to our Buddies who have continued to work so hard and achieved their Gold Award in April 2015.  Our school Buddies continue to act as responsible role models both on the playground and around school.
Congratulations to our Buddies who have achieved their Gold Star Award in April 2015.  This has been an exceptionally dedicated group of pupils who use their initiative and always ensure there are Buddies on the
playground entertaining the younger children.

Thank you to the Buddies of 2013-2014!
To celebrate the end of another busy but very successful year of Buddies we had a little party!  We went into the outdoor area and had a delicious ice cream (with sprinkles!) and played in the sunshine.  Mrs Spoors has appreciated the hard work and enthusiasm you have all shown this year and wishes you all the very best of luck for next year.
