I hope that you have all enjoyed a relaxing summer break and that the children are beginning to look forward to returning to school next Tuesday when they can meet up with their friends and teachers once again. I know that we are certainly looking forward to welcoming them back to school.
As the new term approaches, I wanted to give you more detailed information about what we are incorporating into our school life to ensure that we keep all of our children, their families and our staff safe. Detailed risk assessments have been carried out in line with current government guidance to ensure that protective and safety measures are in place for all staff and children when they return to school on Tuesday 8th September 2020. Our school site will look slightly different and routines will be somewhat different too. Staff will support children with these new routines and systems in order to keep everyone safe. I’m sure we’ll all get used to the new systems in no time!
In line with current guidance, and to ensure our school site is as safe as possible, we have had to make some changes to the school day; these arrangements will be regularly reviewed. I have emailed you an information leaflet for you and some documents to read and share with your child where appropriate. These have also been posted in the Parents Section of the website. Please also check your child’s Class Dojo as we will post maps and videos tomorrow to help ensure everyone is clear about the new procedures. Please read all the information carefully. If you have any questions or worries please get in touch by e-mail and we will do our best to answer as soon as possible.
I hope that you all continue to enjoy the remainder of the summer break together, take care, stay safe and look after one another.
Very best wishes
