Homework in Year 3

English homework is to learn spellings which will be uploaded every 2-3 weeks (depending on the spelling focus. Those who are accessing Little Wandle Rapid Catch Up Phonics Sessions will receive new spellings each Friday. In addition to spellings, children are expected to read at least 3 times per week. Children will be awarded house points for entries in their reading log.

Maths homework is to learn tables on TTRS. For those struggling with number bonds and place value, they can use Numbots for extra practise. We expect children to complete at least 30 minutes of maths homework per week. Children will be awarded 5 house points for completing the set amount by Friday.
