Welcome to our Year 2 class page!

Here you’ll find all the latest news, updates, and information about life in Year 2 at Ravensworth Terrace Primary School. Our class teachers are Mrs Clelland and Mrs Kirk in 2A, and Mrs Mitchinson in 2B. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Johnston, Miss Garrod, Mrs Armitage, Mr Cook and Miss Bankole Jones.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead, filled with exciting learning opportunities, new challenges, and plenty of fun. Throughout the year, children will explore a wide range of engaging topics – from discovering the events of the Great Fire of London in history, to creating beautiful autumnal sketches in our Still Life art unit. One of the highlights of our calendar will be performing on stage at the Gateshead Dance Festival – a wonderful opportunity to showcase our creativity and confidence.

This page will be regularly updated with key dates, class projects, and information about special events. We’ll also be sharing photos, news, and examples of the amazing work the children are producing in class.
