Welcome to our school website! I am delighted to have been appointed as Head Teacher of this wonderful school, having taken up my role in September 2022.
Ravensworth Terrace Primary School is a vibrant school where children are extremely enthusiastic and motivated to learn and achieve endless possibilities. The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future. We pride ourselves that we know each and every child inside out.
We are a Rights Respecting school and encourage our children to take on our values of respect, teamwork, independence, perseverance and kindness. We are also very proud of the play experiences we provide for all our children across the school - especially outdoor, active adventurous play!
Through our engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a thirst for knowledge, a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded curriculum; where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured. We therefore offer children a vast range of opportunities to light the spark of learning and give them the skills and tools they need to flourish and succeed.
I am very proud to be the Head Teacher at Ravensworth Terrace, supported by my enthusiastic and dedicated staff team. Together we work tirelessly to reach very high standards in everything we do. We are further supported through our successful relationships with parents, the local community and other local schools. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as active partners in your child's education and value your interest and support. We hope that every child and their family will look back and recall their time at Ravensworth Terrace as a time of achievement and hard work but also fun and friendship. Happy children make good learners!
I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our new school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities.
